What is the PADI Open Water Diver course?
Successful completion of this course certifies you as an autonomous diver and enables you to dive with a buddy diver, without the support of an instructor, to a depth of 18m.
During the Open Water Diver training course you will learn the theoretical and practical basics of scuba diving, through the use of the didactic material we will provide you with, the practice sessions in the sea under the guidance of our instructors and providing you with all our experience as divers before, during and after the course.
What does the PADI Open Water Diver Course contain?
The course consists of 5 theory sections, where you will learn basic knowledge about the underwater world, the physics and physiology applied to diving, the equipment to use and the skills you will learn to feel safe and comfortable underwater. Once you know the theory, we will move on to action and put into practice what we have learnt during the theory, and during 5 practice dives, you will master the necessary skills to become a responsible and safe diver underwater.

Who is this experience for?
Anyone who wants to start and become qualified in scuba diving, at the beginner's level. Depending on the age, the depth of the dive will vary.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 12 years of age minimum
- Medical certificate authorising the practice of diving.
- 9 years old up to 4 metres deep
- 10 years and over up to 12 metres deep

Course Advanced Open Water
What does this advanced diving course consist of?
Theory:
​
In this module we start with theory, the didactic material of the two courses is very easy to read, with them you will obtain the necessary knowledge to be able to carry out the practices with total security. They are complemented by a complete explanation from your instructor who will clarify any doubts and prepare you to be an experienced diver.
Practical:
​
This part consists of 5 practice dives over two days to a maximum depth of 30 metres. You will be accompanied by our PADI IDC and PADI Dive Master instructors who will teach you the different underwater exercises and how to perfect your buoyancy technique and compass orientation.

Rescue Diver
What does the course consist of?

The course is divided into two parts:

Theoretical part: During the theoretical part of the course, you will learn how to identify possible emergency situations you may encounter underwater, as well as symptoms and consequences of underwater illnesses.​

You will also receive a PADI eLearning code to download the theory to your mobile or tablet. This way, you will be able to follow the classes and have access to the course content at all times.

Practical part: The practical part of the course consists of 4 dives in the sea, in which 12 rescue exercises are carried out. In the course, different rescue and rescue techniques are practised repeatedly, so that at the end of the course you will be able to perform a rescue from the beginning of the emergency underwater, until the professional emergency services arrive.

Requirements

To be Advanced Open Water or equivalent qualification.

Hold the EFR qualification for a maximum of 24 months.

Be 12 years old.

Children from 12 to 14 years old obtain the Junior Rescue Diver certification and the maximum depth is limited to 21 metres. Once they turn 15 years old, they are automatically validated to Rescue Diver.

Have an official medical certificate no older than 2 years.

PADI Divemaster
The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. You'll increase your dive knowledge, management and supervisory skills so that you become a role model for divers around the world.
As a PADI Divemaster, you'll guide other divers as you supervise dive activities and assist with diver training. PADI Divemasters are respected dive professionals who are affiliated with the world's largest and most respected dive training organisation - PADI.

Who can take this course?
​
PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old can participate in the PADI Divemaster course. You also need to have:

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months.

A medical statement signed by a doctor within the last 12 months.

At least 40 logged dives to start the course and 60 dives to achieve certification.

Note that equivalent certifications from other dive training organisations may be useful - ask your PADI Instructor.

As a dive professional, you'll want to have all your basic dive equipment, including a dive computer, a dive knife, and at least two surface signalling devices. During practical exercises, such as underwater mapping and search and recovery, you'll use a compass, floats, marker buoys, lift balloons and slates. Your PADI Instructor may suggest additional equipment that will be useful throughout your diving career.
